LBRDI Chapter 6

Can you give me a sip?

Bonus ko-fi chapter

Shen Mian let He Xing live in a room with himself, of course not out of enthusiasm.

Although Shen Mian felt that He Xing was troublesome, he could see that He Xing was not malicious towards the childcare centre, and such a small centre was nothing worth calculating over. He let He Xing live with himself only because the centre doesn’t have a third bed.

The dragon cub beds that the other dragon cubs were sleeping on were sold by the original owner and replaced with nutrient solutions.

He Xing was naked and bent over to pick up the shirt on the bed, his stretched waist muscles were particularly distinct.

Shen Mian bought the clothes on the star net. They were sent to the centre in less than an hour and they fit well.

Shen Mian crossed his arms and watched him put on the clothes, “A total of 135 star coins. Remember to pay me back when you contact a friend.”

He Xing, who intentionally or unintentionally showed Shen Mian his beautiful body, “… Oh.”

Shen Mian opened the online shop and after a moment, the 500 leaves were all bought by one person. The buyer’s address shows that they are on Water Star and they hope that Shen Mian can ship it as soon as possible.

Shen Mian replied to the other party that he will ship it today and threw the quantum computer to He Xing, “Use it to contact your friends. I need to go downstairs to do something. If you feel that you can’t hold your form any longer then come.”

He Xing estimated for a bit, “I can probably hold it for around ten minutes or so, I’ll come downstairs in a while to help you.”

Shen Mian grunted in confirmation and went out to prepare the dragon grass leaves for the customer.

He Xing listened to the footsteps getting further and further until they reached the backyard, then he dialled a quantum computer ID. He didn’t select the holographic projection option and just talked.

A cold and serious voice came from the other end, “Hello, may I ask who this is…”

“It’s me”

He Xing pushed open the window of the dormitory facing the vegetable field in the centre’s backyard, nebula-like mana flowing around the young dean.

“Boss? Where are you? People here have gone crazy looking for you!”

He Xing interrupted him, “Hold on, you don’t need to worry about much right now. Post a message later and just say I am healing, don’t say anything else.”

The man’s voice tensed in an instant, “You actually got hurt? How are the injuries? Are you in the hospital right now?”

He Xing, “I wasn’t injured, it’s the same problem from before. It will take a while before I go back. I will send you an address later and you, send me a quantum computer.”

Man, “No way, are you having intellectual disabilities again?”

He Xing, “Are you itchy and want your scales changed? What intellectual disability.”

He was severely injured before he became an adult and as a result has frequently reverted back to his juvenile form since. He can’t take care of himself because his IQ basically returns back to when he was a child. For example, he wouldn’t be picky about nutrient solutions under normal circumstances but he will be when he reverts back into juvenile form.

There are many dragon races and they don’t even know the secrets of their own race. He Xing’s race itself is rare and special so no one knows why he has this problem.

He Xing, “I will go back after I confirm that I don’t have any problems for a while so hurry up and send me a quantum computer. Also, I know that you have been on your annual leave recently, don’t come here.”

“Huh- I didn’t know, I thought you went and slept in some little lover’s bed. You’re also relying on serving in the military, there is no dragon in the masses that recognise you. Otherwise, if you get sick, you can only come back here and stay…”

He Xing got a headache when he heard this and promptly ended the call. He suddenly heard footsteps from next door, then someone knocked on the dormitory door. A golden-green head peeked from behind, “Dean… who are you?”

Gian grabbed the door, he suddenly became alert when his eyes landed on He Xing.

He Xing walked over, “I am your dean’s friend.”

Gian is a silly boy. He immediately believed him and raised his head asking him, “Hello uncle, my name is Gian. Do you know where the dean is? I have something to give to him.”

Gian had a small bag in his hand that had something heavy inside. He Xing didn’t know what was put inside.

He Xing felt for a while, the mana Shen Mian gave him won’t last much longer. He took Gian to find Shen Mian just at the right time, “Come on, I’ll take you to find your dean.”

He was tall with long legs, his strides were large and fast. Gian followed behind him strenuously with his short legs.

When He Xing went downstairs, he realised that Gian had not caught up, stopped where he was and waited for a while, then bent down and took Gian’s hand, “Let’s go.”

Gian’s tail slowly lifted, the tip of his tail swaying side to side joyfully – this was the first time his hand was held like this.

In the centre’s backyard, Shen Mian had already picked 500 leaves and packed them into three temporary cartons he found. The carton was found in his own space.

Shen Mian’s original space could already be opened but unfortunately, during the transfer of the ability to the new body, the space contraction caused a lot of things to be crushed into powder. The rest of the things left were a few dispensable items.

Hearing the dragon cub’s footsteps, Shen Mian got up and said, “Have you finished sleeping?”

Turning around and seeing Gian being lead by He Xing, Shen Mian froze. Gian ran to Shen Mian with the bag in his hand.

One of my crystal spines fell off,” Gian raised the bag, “It can be sold again.”

He Xing, “…”

Shen Mian didn’t plan on selling Gian’s crystal spines again – selling the gem dragons crystal spines and scales was originally a helpless move. Now that the centre has a stable income source, of course, Gian’s things don’t need to be sold.

Gem dragons care about their own scales and crystal spines, that is, Gian had been away from a normal gem dragon family and adding the poor dragon cubs that were considered family, if they didn’t sell anything, they wouldn’t be able to eat. That’s why he agreed to sell.

Shen Mian looked at the tip of Gian’s tail which was swaying at a high frequency, “In the future, Gian should carefully put away these things.”

Gian’s tail stopped swaying, “Why? Is Gian useless now?”

Shen Mian’s expression gradually became blank, “No…”

Gian held Shen Mian’s hand with a claw, his eyes immediately filled with a layer of tears, “I can help, don’t send me away dean. I want to stay in the childcare centre. When I go to school in the future, I will pay my own tuition!”

Shen Mian has never raised cubs before. When he was at the base, he was only responsible for hunting in the city and at the same time was a human transporter. He didn’t know how to coax a child.

Shen Mian crouched in front of Gian, thinking about how he should comfort Gian. He was originally not good at speaking, most of the times he spoke were to find trouble or provoke something. Now facing the tearful little dragon, Shen Mian was completely lost.

“Don’t cry.”

Shen Mian was helpless against the little dragon’s tears and even felt that he was simply unforgivable.

Gian thought he was annoying and quickly held in his tears and also hiccupped in a hurry.

Shen Mian, “…”

He thought for a moment, leaned towards Gian and kissed the gem dragons forehead.

Gian: “!!!”

He Xing grinned and also squat down, trying to be at the same level as Gian, “Your dean means that in the future, the childcare centre will have a stable source of income so you can keep your own things. Right, Shen Mian?

Gian randomly rubbed his face, “Really?”

Shen Mian nodded and wiped the little dragon cubs face for him. The human skin was warm and soft. Gian quickly hugged Shen Mian’s wrist, as if to get a little sense of security.

A giant gem-like Gian was attached to his body, his hand holding the box used very little strength – he liked this contact very much. The end of the world took too long, he almost forgot the feeling of cuddling with other creatures.

Shen Mian held Gian and stood up, “Let’s go ship the goods to the customer.”

When He Xing got up, he quickly reached out and put a hand on Shen Mian’s wrist, with a concerned expression, “Come here, Gian is a very heavy dragon, I’ll support you.”

Gian let go of his hand thoughtfully, “Then I won’t hold hand anymore.”

When Shen Mian’s arm became light, the cold sweetheart was already standing next to him, He Xing was on his left. Shen Mian slowly frowned at He Xing.

He Xing lightly coughed, “… Well, I can’t hold it any longer, can you give me a bit?”

Shen Mian pinched He Xing’s wrist and gave him a little mana to ensure that He Xing could maintain his human form.

Gian raised his head and asked He Xing, “Uncle, is this what others call being a fan?”

He Xing laughed, “Yes, yes, the dean is super cute. Being a fan is good for your health and creates a happy mood.”

There are people who are fans of dragons so naturally, there are dragons who are fans of dragons. Especially for the dragons of such a large size as He Xing is, humans are perfectly in line with their ethnic aesthetic.

To put it simply, they’re cute.

Their soft skin is cute, their high body temperature is cute and small ones are also cute.

The super cute Dean Shen pressed his fingers together harder, He Xing took a breath of cold air and quickly admitted, “I’m wrong, I’m wrong.”

Shen Mian withdrew his hand. He was pale and his facial features were a bit cold. He seemed like a big boy with a little arrogance, but in reality, the strength of his hands is terrifying.

He Xing moved his wrist and internally sighed: Thankfully he was a dragon with coarse skin. If this was a dream dragon who has small arms and calves, they would immediately get a fracture.

Violent cute things, can not afford to be fawned over.

Water Star Central City

A flame dragon that had recently moved received a courier from the same planet.

“What is this?”

The fiery flame dragon was cleaning his new home, his hair was on fire when he received the courier.

The courier was a human form golden-crowned dragon, a sub-species of the velvet dragon. It was pale and delicate and only reached the height of the flame dragon’s chest. It trembled and delivered the express parcel, “it is your same planet express.  Please… accept the parcel… QAQ.”

Originally, the dragons also used intelligent robots to replace the dragons doing simple work, but after the Imperial Star damaged tens of millions of express robots within a year, they re-enabled the express service.

The flame dragon took the box and looked at it, directly tearing it along with the outer packaging and a handful of dragon grass leaves fell out!

The unique fragrance of the dragon grass exuded, successfully soothing the flame dragon’s irritability.

Flame dragon, He forgot he bought dragon grass from the broadcast room in the morning!

He lowered his head to collect the dragon grass, signed the courier, opened the remaining two boxes, poured all the dragon grass leaves into the bathtub and half-filled it with water.

A clattering noise caught the flame dragon’s attention. He shifted through the leaves and found a golden-green crystal spine, which was polished until it was crystal-clear and translucent.

“You are the store’s first customer, thank you for purchasing the dragon grass from Qiming Childcare Centre.”

The words are very big and the spaces in between are uneven. One look and you can tell that it was written by a young dragon, there was also a red love heart underneath drawn with a pen.

It looks pretty cute.

The flaming dragon picked it up and cautiously sniffed it, then carefully placed it on the sink.

The flaming dragon took off its clothes, changed into its dragon form and slowly laid in the bathtub full of leaves. The heavy body crushed the leaves and the unique fragrance of the dragon grass filled the bathroom.

The flame dragon turned around in the bathtub, the green juice staining its red scales, then raised its quantum computer to take a picture of itself and sent it to the dragon’s star net social platform:

“Flames of Death: Found a treasured human, the planted dragon grass is almost the same as the elven dragons. I just took a dragon grass bath and I’m in a good mood.”

All the friends of the flame dragon who saw this development were in shock: As everyone knows the flame dragon, a kind of dragon that is unhappy every day of a year, would actually say that they’re in a good mood?

The friends clicked on the large picture and looked at the red and green flame dragon, changing from shock to contemplation: is this dragon broken?

Wait, dragon grass? And it’s grown by a human? Are they cute and petite like an elven dragon?

The flame dragon, who was enjoying the dragon grass bath, was disturbed by a dozen messages. When he turned on his quantum computer, they all asked:

“Hello? Are you there? Where can I buy this dragon grass? Lao Zi’s throat has recently been hurting from breathing fire!”

Flame dragon: …I suddenly want to burn a dragon.

The flame dragon irritably sent out new news: Happy Star online shopping, Shen Mian’s Shop! Watch people roll into Cat Eye platform’s live room 1551!

The author wants to say something:

The dragons before watching the live broadcast: He must be cute and petite!

The dragons after watching the live broadcast: wu wu wu, so fierce.

Shen Mian: Still meng?

He Xing: Actually still meng… I mean fierce.
