[Death Rays: wu wu wu Asking the dean for the same style, it’s so cute! Humans can’t raise dragon cubs and I want one of these pouches. I will definitely wear it every day.]

[Seventh Legion Super God: I quickly snatched the dean’s last pack of mana plants. It doesn’t matter if they are out or not hehehe, give the babies some snacks.]

[Mr Deer: I can’t help but ask, I’m too slow and couldn’t snatch the last few packs. Dean, how much do I have to buy to get a  pouch? It’s too cute.]

Shen Mian, “…”

He thought that the audience in the live room was just going along with the little dragon cubs, but did not expect them to actually want to buy them.

Shen Mian moved the live broadcast into the background and the quantum computer switched to his personal virtual store. Several products that were put out had been sold out a few minuted prior. Fortunately, there were only a few stocks of several kinds of mana plants except for the dragon grass. Not many people grabbed them and only the large supply of dragon grass sold out in the morning.

Lu Yuan didn’t say exactly how much they needed to buy before sending a pouch. Shen Mian looked at it and decided to send the pouch to a customer who placed a one-time order of more than sixty star coins and needed to make five pouches.

Although the materials used to make the pouches were cheap, they were too time-consuming to make.

Shen Mian crouched down and stared at the three dragon cubs, “You just said, buy more and get a free pouch, right?”

The three dragon cubs nodded.

Shen Mian, “This is what you promised, so you must keep it. Let’s make the  pouches together later.”

Lu Yuan gripped his pouch and hesitated, whispering, “Did I do something wrong?”

Shen Mian rubbed his ears, “You haven’t you done it yet,  who knows if it’s wrong or not.”

Lu Yuan rubbed his face and was a little vexed, “Ah… I feel like I’m causing trouble for the dean and Yan Tan.”

The black and white little fatty was overexcited and finally remember that the ones making the pouches were the dean and Yan Tan, not him. He suddenly regretted that he hadn’t listened to Gian’s discouragement. He got hot-headed and started selling pouches and sighed while holding his head.

Yan Tan patted Lu Yuan.

Shen Mian turned to the camera lens, “Well then, customers who placed an order of sixty or more star coins will receive a handmade pouch. If you have an image you want to request, please send me a private message through the virtual store. That’s it for today’s broadcast, see you tomorrow.”

After the broadcast, Shen Mian did receive several private messages, sending pictures and hoping that they can draw a cute version of the image on their pouches.

Shen Mian handed the quantum computer to Yan Tan, “Can you draw these?”

Yan Tan hugged Shen Mian’s arm, “I can draw them!”

The lighting at this time was very good. Shen Mian moved the table and chairs into the hallway, spread the fabric out and cut it. The three cubs soon came down with paint and Yan Tan had changed to his human form.

He took Shen Mian’s quantum computer and carefully observed a few images.

The human forms of dragons from the legendary genus are almost indistinguishable from normal humans, with only slight differences in physical characteristics – lower body temperature than normal humans and higher physical fitness.

Yan Tan’s human form is meagre and thin. He was wearing a set of black t-shirt and shorts. He was like ink in his dragon form, but in his human form, he was fair and beautiful. His small brows were slightly wrinkled as he squeezed the brush in contemplation and had a serious look on his face.

Lu Yuan didn’t know how to do anything, dragged a blanket next to Shen Mian’s leg and sat down, watching Shen Mian cut the fabric.

Gian held a book. He could read much faster than any other dragon cub his age and had covered a wide range of subjects, even though most dragon cubs couldn’t read the professional books.

Lu Yuan watched for a while, lying on Shen Mian’s lap, “I think… I was too impulsive. I just wanted to sell more things and completely didn’t consider that there was so much to prepare after.”

Gian raised his paws and patted Lu Yuan on the back, “It’s okay.”

Shen Mian had just finished sewing a pouched and looked down at him, “Have you learned your lesson?”

Lu Yuan nodded vigorously, “I will listen to Gian in the future!”

Shen Mian, “…”

Yep, it is indeed Lu Yuan who can always come up with unexpected answers.

Gian covered his face with one paw, “I was telling you to think about whether you can do it or not before doing something!”

Lu Yuan suddenly realised, “Oh- is that so?”

……

At the rate of making one in over two hours, Shen Mian was only able to make two by the time it was dark. Fortunately, He Xing had taken the initiative to take out the vegetable soup and red wine stew from the fridge to heat it up and keep it warm, the nutrient solutions had been prepared in advance.

Hearing Yan Tan’s stomach rumble, Shen Mian put away the cloth, “Let’s go, it’s time to eat dinner.”

Lu Yuan stood up, his eyes dull, “I’ll never talk while I’m hot-headed again.”

It’s too hard to make five pouches! It wasn’t finished today and had to be picked up tomorrow.

Lu Yuan himself couldn’t help but did not want to go out to play by himself. He must accompany Shen Mian and Yan Tan. After sitting for an afternoon, he felt like he gained more fat around his belly.

Shen Mian carried down Yan Tan, who was standing on a stool drawing and took the three cubs to the kitchen.

Only He Xing was in the kitchen. The dragon cubs lined up to wash their hands and Shen Mian asked, “How come there are two less?”

He Xing brought out the warm vegetable soup and red wine stew and lowered his voice, “Old General Yan’s retirement formalities have been done and after a lifetime of fighting, it would be unreasonable to not have a ceremony. Although it’s all for show, it must be done. The two of them had to rush back before the retirement ceremony.”

Shen Mian went to another sink to wash his hands, “You aren’t going back?”

He Xing shrugged, “It takes three and a half hours to go from Water Star to the Imperial Star using the most used space-hopping route, four or five hours before and after the ceremony and a little over half an hour for me to get back to my own residence. Unless the dean drags me to the Imperial Star with the family, I won’t be able to go anywhere but by your side.”

It will be a big problem in the case of him changing back at the retirement ceremony.

He’s recovering faster and faster and can now maintain his anthropomorphic form for about nine hours, but it’s not very stable. However, he can maintain a certain level of clear-headedness when he turns back into a dragon and he’ll probably be back to his normal state in another week or less.

Shen Mian glanced at him, “Is there no problem if you disappear for so long?”

He Xing handed him a tissue, “My father is still there, so what’s there to be worried about. The main reason is that I’m not needed at the military department right now is because they should still be purging the insides of political groups and thoroughly clearing rebel forces, so there’s no time for show. I can just clock in and out every day with my quantum computer and still get paid.”

The Dragon Empire is an empire, but it is not a monopoly of the royal family. The empire symbolizes the military and the ruling chief is elected by the people. It’s a bit like a constitutional monarchy, but this monarch has real power and a secure position – they were not involved in administration, but they symbolize the supreme force of the empire and when they’re not at war, they were the mascots of the people and were very much loved by the people.

He Xing moved closer to Shen Mian, “I’m telling you, it’s good to be married to a dragon like us. Normally when we’re not at war, there are knights who are particularly dedicated and our empire enforces very strict laws. The omega’s right’s in marriage are guaranteed and a cheating alpha cannot get a share of the family property… dean? Dean?”

Shen Mian ignored it and sat down at the table. The three little dragon cubs had just washed their hands and they came to sit at the table. Shen Mian patted Yan Tan, who was already hungry, “Hurry and eat.”

Yan Tan drank a small half bag of the nutrient solution and showed a relaxed expression.

He Xing sat next to Shen Mian, “The marketing failed. Hey, Lu Yuan, I watched your live broadcast while I repaired the Conqueror…”

Lu Yuan had just finished a bowl of vegetable soup, quietly snatched a piece of stewed meat from Gian’s bowl and hurriedly stuffed it into his mouth, covering his mouth, “What live broadcast?”

“The part in the broadcast where you were selling your pouches,” He Xing opened a bag of nutrient solution, “How about you teach me tonight.”

Shen Mian didn’t even look up, “All right, you can put them to bed tonight.”

The three dragon cubs shared a look of anticipation: Will Uncle He tell them a story of his battles?

He Xing was resolute, “It’s fine, I’ll learn marketing by myself.”

Wrap yourself up in a package and market it quickly.

When Shen Mian finished dinner, Yan Zhou and Yan Huan walked in one after the other, Yan Huan said, “Boss, Dean, we just booked the tickets and we will now return to the Imperial Star.”

Yan Zhou crouched down beside Yan Tan.

The little dragon cub wearing the black shirt was a little nervous.

Yan Zhou took the young boy’s delicate little hand, paused for a moment then awkwardly praised, “Your paintings are very beautiful, you are exceptional unlike other dragon cubs.”

The little dragon cub’s eyes gradually brightened.

Yan Zhou. “I…”

He hadn’t said I love you in so long that he didn’t know how to say it and ended up gently hugging his child.

Yan Huan walked over, “Your dad and I will go back temporarily and we will pick you up to go back to school when your holiday is over, is that okay?”

Yan Tan turned around, the two friends behind him nodded at him and Yan Tan whispered, “Yes.”

Yan Huan leaned over and kissed his only nephew, “Let’s go then. No need to see us off. Enjoy your meal.”

Yan Zhou also stood up.

Yan Tan was a bit reluctant but still did not chase them. Shen Mian and He Xing also just stood up to show sincerity. They had long been used to separation and can only be sure that the other side is all right. The distance does not really matter.

After eating, Lu Yuan and Gian pulled a somewhat disoriented little Yan Tan out of the kitchen.

Thinking that there might be more to talk about between children, Shen Mian didn’t follow them out, just instructed them not to go out and put the dishes in the sink, the housekeeping robot automatically moved over to take over.

He still had the image of the little dragon cub’s slumped head on his mind, “Will Yan Tan be sad?”

He Xing, “Probably…not.”

Shen Mian, “?”

He Xing’s expression was subtle, “A dragon cub who can say that their own uncle lost them, even if they couldn’t bear to part with them, would only feel reluctant at that moment. He should be running around with excitement now having long since thrown his uncle and father to the Imperial Star.”

Shen Mian opened the kitchen door, the mock battle arena in the courtyard had been idle for a few days and today it was finally lit up again, but it soon went out – after entering night mode, the outside of the mock arena couldn’t be seen to be running, so as not to disturb the resting dragons or humans.

Shen Mian’s keen sense of hearing could hear the playful voices of the dragon cubs.

Shen Mian, “…”

He Xing laughed his ass off, “When I was a kid, my father would only come over to spend time with me when I was playing with toys he was interested in, otherwise, he’d play with me in the mock battle arena. Most dragon cubs don’t have that heavy of an attachment.”

Shen Mian, “…You put them to bed tonight.”

He Xing immediately got serious and approached Shen Mian, “I was wrong Dean, spare me for the sake of the fact that I’m sometimes not in my right mind.”

“Your apology is wholesale and I don’t care.”

Shen Mian moved aside the obstructive He Xing.

He Xing looked at him for a moment, then his figure suddenly disappeared. Shen Mian subconsciously raised his hand. A small golden dragon cub fluttered its wings and flew to Shen Mian’s hand and skillfully wrapped around his fingers.

Shen Mian, “…”

Did this fucker take the initiative to reduce his intelligence?

He endured and barely persuaded himself: Forget it, turning back into a dragon is just like being a little cub, just bear with it.

The golden dragon circled his fingers and made a low sound.

Shen Mian, “…”

He peeled off He Xing and placed the unlucky thing into a box: The subwoofer dragon cub was spared.

    1. I don’t think livia would be happy. I think Livia has a crush on Yan Tan. So adopting Livia would cause incest. 🙂🔪

  1. Thoughts of the chapter – if they are traveling back and forth it is a GREAT time to pick up and accompany Livia to everyone. Two – He Xing should get used to putting the Cubs to bed, showing off what an exceptional alpha he would be to his offspring especially compared to the apparent norm! Shen Mian put them to work Also good on Lu Yuan for learning to think more before acting… Or learning the benefits of listening to others with better understanding (ꈍᴗꈍ )
